What is DTV+?
DTV+ is Brazil's new free-to-air TV standard, built upon ATSC 3.0, one of the world's most advanced digital broadcasting systems, and enhanced with Brazilian innovations to create an even more advanced broadcasting standard. 4K image, immersive sound, interactivity and personalization, all without needing a subscription.
The experimental signal launched on June 11, 2026, alongside the World Cup, reaching Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo and the Federal District simultaneously — covering more than 21 million Brazilians, according to the Ministry of Communications.

Initial coverage of the DTV+ signal
TV 3.0's experimental signal launched on June 11, 2026, coinciding with the start of the World Cup — delivering a launch worthy of the occasion: choice of camera angles, live polls, superior image quality, and the option to hear the commentator or the crowd with immersive sound, as if you were inside the stadium.
The Ministry of Communications confirmed initial coverage of more than 21 million Brazilians in Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo and the Federal District. Expansion to the other state capitals happens gradually, reaching the 15 main state capitals by 2030 — current devices will keep working normally throughout the entire period.
